About Us
HER CARE INC is a nonprofit organization dedicated to educating, empowering, and supporting teens and young women throughout their reproductive health journeys. Founded with a vision to break cycles of misinformation, stigma, and silence, we provide vital education on safe haven laws, the importance of prenatal care, doula services, and the physical and emotional challenges that can arise during and after pregnancy including perinatal depression.
We believe that access to compassionate care, culturally sensitive resources, and accurate health information should never be a privilege-it's a right. Through school-based programming, community outreach, and strategic partnerships, we aim to create safe spaces where young people feel seen, supported and equipped to make informed decisions about their bodies and futures.

OUR STORY
HER CARE INC was founded with a deep commitment to transforming the lives of women and families in our community. Our journey began with a vision to address women's unique health and wellness challenges, from maternal care to mental health, and to create a space where women can find comprehensive support, care, and empowerment.
The inspiration for HER CARE INC came from witnessing firsthand the gaps in healthcare and resources available to women, particularly in underserved communities. Our founder, Beverley Childs, a dedicated Labor & Delivery Maternal Child Health nurse and community leader, saw the need for a holistic approach to women's health- one that not only provides medical services but also emphasizes self-care, mental well-being, and community engagement.
Driven by this mission, HER CARE INC has grown into a trusted resource for women seeking compassionate care. We offer a range of services, including maternal and child health programs, doula services, mental health support, and wellness education. Our organization is built on the belief that every woman deserves access to quality care and the opportunity to lead a healthy, empowered life.
